Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Hope to Find Under My Tree

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018!

Salutations Chapterlings! We have finally come to the end of December! I can’t believe it’s come and gone so quickly! The thought of the new year is something that I just can’t wait for it to happen! But you didn’t come here for that, you came here for books. I’m back with another Top Ten Tuesday and this time we’re talking about the books we’re hoping to see under the tree. This Wednesday in the US is Christmas! Just like with Thanksgiving we do and don’t celebrate this holiday in my family. However, my family also celebrates Winter Solstice and Yule this time of year too! Anyway, without going into too much details, that’s just how it is in my family. It’s a mix-mash of all the different holidays being celebrated.

Anyway, all of that aside, I love this time of year because I genuinely love gift giving to others! This is probably one of my favorite times of the year where I really try to make things a little extra special and try to arrange to spend more time with family before the new year rolls in. It just means a whole lot to me and it’s a really soft and sappy time for me. With that being said, I want to take a moment to say thank you to all of you who read my blog, support me, and just genuinely love the content I put out into the bookverse! It means so much to have you along on this journey and a lot of this wouldn’t be possible with out you! So thank you! Now that I got all soft and sappy, let’s get into the books I’m wishing for this year!

❄️Robin by Dave Itzkoff

I have loved Robin Williams and his work all my life. He has been a part of my life since I was a child. There has never been a day where the things this man has done doesn’t inspire me. This book is a deep want from deep within my heart and my soul.

❄️Beasts of Abigaile Vol. 1 (Beasts of Abigaile #1) by Spica Aoki

My dearest friend Kayla at Books and Blends recommended this to me after she finished the series and after she told me how much she enjoyed it, I have been wanting to jump in on the fun!

❄️#Notyourprincess: Voices of Native American Women by Lisa Charleyboy

It’s no secret that I take pride in my Native American heritage and this is a book I have been dying to pick up for the longest time!

❄️The Storm Runner (The Storm Runner #1) by J.C. Cervantes

What can I say except I’m a sucker for mythology and disability representation!

❄️A Court of Thorns and Roses Collectors Edition by Sarah J. Maas

If you thought I wasn’t going to want this with how much I love this series or this author, well…

❄️Let’s Talk About Love by Claire Kann

Bisexual and asexual representation? YES PLEASE!

❄️The Princess Saves Herself in This One by Amanda Lovelace

An author I need to have all of their books because of all the wounds that get opened, but healed.

❄️Rumple Buttercup: A Story of Bananas, Belonging, and Being Yourself by Matthew Gray Gubler

Because I want to support one of my favorite actors on Criminal Minds, Dr. Spencer Reid!

❄️The Art of Dragon Age Inquisition by BioWare

One of my all time favorite video games and dragons!

❄️Hungry Hearts: 13 Tales of Food & Love by Elise Chapman

Because every time I read this title, I get soft and sappy thinking about my family!

Okay, readers! That just gives you a little tip of some of the books I would really like to see under my tree this year! There are a few others, but these were some of the more underrated ones on my list that I really wanted to put out there. Who knows, maybe some wishes will come true! But let me know down in the comments below some of the books you’d really love to receive for the holidays! Until next time, may you all have a safe holiday and maybe read a book or two! 💙
