Monthly TBR

December 2019 TBR

Salutations friends! We have finally landed in the month of December! I’m still in awe that we’re at the end of the year already. Where did the time go?! I guess time really does go by fast when you’re reading a good book. Anyway, we’re in December and that means a whole new TBR has come at last. Now, picking this TBR was not so easy and I think my brain ending up subconsciously picking books that had shades of blue in them. I did mention this before, but I’ll say it again… This is the time of year where I get really busy and very family and home-bound focused. What that means is even though I have this wonderful and amazing TBR, it doesn’t mean I’m going to read all these books and there’s a very high chance that I will pick up books more centered around going home, friends and family, or books about finding family. It’s just my sentimental and homesick nature around this time of year. But I will do my absolute best to stick to my TBR because there’s some really great books that I’ve been itching to read!

On that note and before we jump into the books, you’ve probably noticed a new change to the theme. I briefly showed a sneak peek of this on my Instagram stories and today in the big winter theme reveal! If you’ve been here awhile then you probably know this, but I’m very sentimental about my spouse. So I will have them help me out with coming up with new designs and I just get very soft that they’ve been supporting me through this whole blogging journey. The new design and theme for winter is all thanks to them! And I’m so thankful and grateful for their help, for them wanting to support this blogging journey, and for them being them! ❤️ Okay, now that I got all sappy and mushy, on to the books and a very special announcement!

    1. Oh my gosh! That definitely helps! I was sent an arc of An Alaskan Christmas, but I wanted to save it for more of that season. Ugh, now I’m excited for it! Also, thank you! I hope I love it too! So many people I know have loved the series and I’m so ready for some chilly vibes!

      1. Oh I don’t do TBRs. Far too moody a reader!! Although I am going to be reading Frankly in Love with my book group and I did buy a copy of A Christmas Carol to read on Christmas Eve :))))
