October 2019 Book Haul

Salutations Chapterlings! I finally got my October book haul up and like I always say, better late than never! It has been far too long, but you already know the story behind that. If you’re new to this blog then welcome! The short version to that long story is I’ve been dealing with a lot of chaos and negativity in my personal life so it’s had an impact on my reading and getting blog posts up. There was also the matter of the holiday for the month of November and there’s been a lot of overwhelming things happening. So I’m sorry this has happened far too late to my liking, but it’s finally getting posted!

And finally getting posted it is indeed! It’s not a super big haul, but a fairly decent sized haul. I was blessed with so many amazing books for the month October and I’m so thankful that I get to share these books with all of you. I don’t want to take too much time gushing and such, but I do have to do a little gushing. I am incredibly blessed to have many wonderful and lovely friends in the book community who have opened their hearts to me. I’m truly blessed and so grateful for each and every one, but one of my friends was just an absolutely incredible soul. My friend Dani, check her out on her Instagram, ended up going to a Leigh Bardugo signing event and she ended up with an extra copy of Ninth House. I had been missing every opportunity to pick up a copy and when she mentioned she had an extra copy, I told her that I would love the copy. She was so kind to have Leigh Bardugo personalize it for me and I’m just truly grateful for her, her friendship, and for her being in my life. I had to put that out there to the world. Now that I’m all sappy and soft, on to the books!

I’m so grateful and thankful to have them and to be blessed with so many opportunities to be able to get these books. I’m very aware of my privilege especially with Book of the Month because I know they don’t ship internationally, but hopefully they will be opening up internationally soon.
