Monthly TBR

August 2019 TBR

Salutations Chapterlings! I’m finally getting my August TBR up! I know, know, but the way I see it, better late than never! So, remember how last month I said it was going to be an easy going month and then I jumped into a readathon that was right at the end of July? Remember that? So…that’s definitely NOT happening this month! I refuse to go overboard this month with my reading. Actually, to be fully honest with you, I think I have a pretty good TBR picked out for this month. A lot of the books I picked out this month are books I’m anticipated or really want to read. In fact, one of them has been such an anticipated release that I’m almost finished it! So for the month of August,it should be smooth sailing, but there is a bit of pressure because most of the books I’m reading this month are ARCS and they just so happen to be releasing in September. Be prepared because I’m going into full crunch mode to make sure I get these all read and hopefully have reviews up soon. But enough of my talking, let’s jump into this month’s TBR!

P.S. You may have noticed that I’m no longer reading Wilder Girls. And you’re right! I just finished that a couple days ago and hopefully you’ll be seeing my thoughts on that book soon! I’m still processing my feelings and I do have one more review to go up before that one goes. So be patient and anticipate them both coming soon!

🌻 Currently Reading

🌻 There Will Come a Darkness by Katy Rose Pool

🌻 To Be Read

🌻 No Judgments by Meg Cabot

🌻 Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire

🌻 The Nanny by Gilly MacMillan

🌻 Boundless by R.A. Salvatore

Okay, friends! That’s everything for my August TBR! I swear, this month is going to be a lot less stressful, I promise! No readathons, no sprints, just good ‘ol reading and reading if I’m in the mood for reading. And this time, I’m definitely making sure I pay more attention to my mental health while reading and not overdoing it. I have my snacks at the ready and I’m excited for the rest of the month ahead! But, let me know some of the books you want to get to this month! I would love to hear some of the titles and would love to hear recommendations! ❀️ And as usual; may August be full of reading and five stars reads, I love you! ❀️

  1. I’m always in awe of how people can pick a TBR for a month and stick to it. I am far too moody for that lol! Great post :))

    1. I absolutely understand! I try my best to stick to the TBR I pick out for every month, but sometimes that falls to pieces when I become a more moody reader. Which actually happened to me in the month of July. I ended up setting aside an audiobook and an Aladin retelling off to the side because I wasn’t feeling the vibe of either book. So I definitely understand the side you’re coming from. But I’m so glad you enjoyed the post! ❀️ I definitely thought it was too short to post, but I appreciate the love so much! ❀️

      1. I haven’t gotten far, but I like it so far. Better than The Last Time Lied. I think I’m in the minority with not liking that one. But i loved Final Girls πŸ™‚
