Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Want to Read Before the End of 2019

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018!

Salutations Chapterlings! Welcome back for another Top Ten Tuesday! Since my last Top Ten Tuesday, I’ve debated doing another one since. So I thought to myself, “what would be the next best Top Ten to post about”, and here we are friends! Finally confessing my reading sins by telling all of you the books I have yet to read, but also they’re also the books I want to read before this year is completely done and over with. For my ever changing reading mood, this is a challenge and a very ambitious goal of mine for 2019. And as you know, we are almost at the half way mark for this year and I definitely wanted to make sure I shared this list with all of you before everything turned into crunch time. So, without any further delays and rambling, let me show you my absolute must read books before this year is over!
*Please note, these are in no specific order! Thank you!*

🌻 Strange the Dream by Laini Taylor

Everyone, literally EVERYONE has been telling me I need to pick this book up and every time I try to, it just never happens.

🌻 Caraval (Caraval #1) by Stephanie Garber

The hype around this book has been preventing me from picking it up. There’s a lot of pressure and hype…it’s intimidating.

🌻 Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan

The one book I’ve been eagerly trying to get to, but the time never seems right.

🌻 Stain by A.G. Howard

I love retellings! While this reminds me more of The Living Dead Girl, this is the first retelling I have heard of for The Princess and the Pea!

🌻 Tiger’s Destiny (The Tiger Saga #4) by Colleen Houck

Before you come at me with pitch forks and torches, I actually like this series to an extent and at this point I just need to know what happens. The suspense is absolutely terrible!

🌻 Soul of the Sword by Julie Kagawa

I fell in love with Shadow of the Fox (the first book in this trilogy) and I highly anticipate this book to be just as amazing!

🌻 Fables: Deluxe Edition #5 by Bill Willingham & Matthew Sturges

I finally got this edition and it was the hardest one to track down for a reasonable price!

🌻 Sadie by Courtney Summers

I really want to get to this book this fall. I don’t know which month, but this is a for sure book I will read before this year is done and over with, and the fact that my need to read it is mighty and great!

🌻 Storm and Fury (The Harbinger #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Gargoyles. Freaking gargoyles and blind representation! That’s all I need! Oh, and there’s magic and demons!

🌻Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco

If there’s one thing you will take away from this list, it’s my love and devotion to the Stalking Jack the Ripper Quartet! This is my number one highly anticipated release for 2019, an anticipated five star read, my most loved OTP, and the release date can’t get here soon enough! I’m ready and I hope you all are too!

Okay, friends! That’s all of the books I want to read before the end of the year! There are so many other books I want to read and plenty of books that so many of my trusted friends are telling me I have to read no matter what, but I have high hopes that this final half of the year will be filled with lots of reading and marvelous reads! Please let me know in the comments some of your books you really want to get to by the end of this year. I love hearing other’s recommendations and excitements! Until next time; may your TBR be filled with incredible books, your month full of reading, I love you! ❤️
