Monthly TBR

June 2019 TBR

Holy strawberries Batman! I’m in a real jam this time!
May has officially come and gone. There were so many wonderful moments, but now we’re hitting summer and that may have caused me to bite off more than I can chew. I can’t believe I’ve done this to myself! I finally made a very ambitious TBR and June is definitely the month where I’m all booked! June is probably going to be my biggest month for reading, if not for reading activities. The pressure is on friends! I have so much planned and there’s a few events that I have to check on to see when they’re scheduled before I say anything. Just know there’s a lot of things happening behind the scenes that when the time comes for it, I’ll be sharing it with all of you. So pay attention to my social media!

So let’s talk a little about my June TBR because this is the entire list. Half of my TBR I’m keeping secret just because I like surprising people. I’m like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get from good ole’ Malli! But seriously, it’s going to be great and the second half is based off the fact that June is Pride Month. So keep your eyes peeled for some of those reads. Outside of my secret TBR, this month you probably noticed some books that were supposed to be part of my May TBR. Yeah…those didn’t happen. May was a wild ride and I’m just surprised I read as many books as I did for that month. So three of those books have ended up on my June TBR. I’m determined to get them, they sound so good and right up my reading tastes. Now, let me share with you some of my picks for the month of June!

      1. I’m mostly a mood reader- so while I have stuff I’d “like to get to” I don’t know that I ever have a set TBR.

Except for buddy reads, and I don’t think I have many of those scheduled this summer!

      2. I have never done a readathon! I’m not even entirely sure I know what a readathon is? (Other than I’m guessing you read a lot!) I’ve never signed up because I’ve been worried I wouldn’t have the time to commit. Are you doing any? Which ones?

      3. Haha something of the sorts! I am doing Pride-a-thon for this month!

And you don’t have to read a whole lot. You just commit to what you feel you can accomplish. At least that’s how I’ve treated them. I did the Asian Read-a-thon for last month and I also know that Smut-a-thon and Summer-a-thon are happening this month too. So if any of those appeal to you, I recommend giving them a try. It’s a great way to meet new people and get some reading done. ❤️

      4. Alright- let me comb my TBR. Are you on GoodReads? I could use the compare books function and see what we’ve got in common.

      5. You have a ton of books on your shelf!! Would you be up for either Station Eleven or The Night Circus? I’ve been meaning to try those for a while. If not, let me know I’ll pick something else!
