Oh my stars, it’s officially May! I can’t believe we have made it this far into the year already! Where has the time gone?! I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this yet, but April was a whirlwind and April was a bit of a sad month for reading. However, this month is going to be better and all I’m going to be doing is focusing on eating, sleeping, reading, working, and pushing out book reviews. It’s going to be intense, I may die, I may possibly have to hook myself up to a coffee machine so I can run on caffeine, but it’s fine, we’re fine, everything is fine! Not only that, but this is also my birth month (if I haven’t mentioned that yet, either) so May 25th will be the day I’m a bit kinder to myself than the rest of this month. So I hope you’re following me on social media because a lot is going to be happening that day! So pray for me because I don’t know how I’m going to survive this month and the roller coaster I’m about to get on!

So let’s dive into this monthly TBR! I’ve kept it kind of small this month just because I am in the middle of reading four other books right now! Two of these books are arcs and they take top priority out of everything else I’m reading right now. However, I’m really hoping I can get to the other books on my TBR because if you haven’t heard yet this month of May is Asian Pacific Heritage Month here in the US. While I will be rereading Dragon Pearl for the Dragons & Tea Book Club, I really wanted to have more than just one book on my TBR for Asian Pacific Heritage Month!
So without any further adieu, let’s get into this TBR for May!

Alright Chapterlings! That about does it! I may compile a side TBR in case my reading mood goes a little all over the place (like it usually does). Hopefully I will breeze through all of these books and have a few unexpected books for you if all goes plan, but in case I don’t, expect most of these books and their reviews should be happening this month. So that about covers it everyone! I look forward to seeing what all of you are reading for the month of May! I hope your month has started off fantastically and as always, I love you! ❤️
Beautiful photo. I loved Girls of Paper and Fire, hope you enjoy it! I’m hoping to read Dragon Pearl this month as well for Amy and Melanie’s bookclub *fingers crossed*

*fingers crossed* I hope you like Dragon Pearl! If it’s not your usual cup of tea, I can definitely see where some readers may have issues with it especially if they prefer specific genres over others. I’m definitely going back and forth on how I’m going to rate this so I’m hoping this reread will be a bit clearer for me. As for Girls of Paper and Fire, I really hope I love it. I’ve heard so many mixed things that I’ve been putting it off, but I definitely want to aim to read it this month.
